Nicole Fuller-Williams, MPH

Birth Place: Kingston Jamaica (University Hospital)


Early Life: I migrated to America at age 16, my family settled in New York City. I attended George Washington High school and after graduating, I attended, Borough of Manhattan Community College where I earned my Associates degree in liberal Arts. I then attended Hunter College where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  After earning my degree I worked a few years and then decided to earn a Master’s degree in Public health from Benedictine University.  


Start of Career Life: After earning my Associates degree, I worked for a company called, Young Adult Institute (YAI) as a Behavior modification specialist. I worked with YAI for 5 years, during that time I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was offered a position at Harlem Hospital as a HIV/AIDS counselor, providing education and counseling to individuals living with HIV/AIDS virus.


After 2 years of service I resigned from Harlem Hospital, I worked as an elementary and high school substitute teacher for 4 years. I then went back to Harlem Hospital for another year until I was offered a job at Gallub Services (TBI) for people living with Traumatic Brain Injury I work there from Sept, 2009 to January, 2015 when I graduated with my MPH.


Present Career Life: After graduating with my MPH, I got a job offer with an agency called Caduceus Health Care as a contractor for the CDC working on the CDC Ebola response project. 3 months after my start as a public Health Advisor, I was promoted to Coordinator.  I have been working in this position for over a year and looking forward to what the future has to offer.
